Conditions of Hire

For the interest of all users and to ensure you have an enjoyable experience at Oxstalls Indoor Tennis Centre we have certain conditions of use, a set of rules, that we ask all users to abide by.

CONDITIONS OF USE

  • Courts and recreational sessions may be booked upto 7 days in advance. (Tennis Cardholders 14 days)
  • To reserve a court or a place on a recreational session payment must be made in full at the time of booking.
    (except Tennis Cardholders).
  • To reserve a court or a place on a course payment must be made in full at the time of booking.
  • Telephone reservations can be made from 9am until close.
    Telephone reservations can only be made by credit card (except Tennis Cardholders) [minimum transaction £5].
  • To cancel a court a minimum of 48 hours notice is required.
  • Refunds after 48 hours are at the discretion of the Tennis Centre Manager.
  • Water bottles with a sports cap (preferably filled with water) will be the only drinks permitted onto the courts. No Food allowed.
  • Non-marking trainers must be worn on court at all times.
  • No private coaching of individuals or groups is permitted at the centre unless you are an Oxstalls Tennis Centre registered coach. Anyone found abusing this rule will be asked to leave immediately and will be not be permitted to make future bookings at the centre.
  • Courts must be vacated promptly on the hour by the radio controlled clocks at reception and at either end of the tennis hall otherwise an additional hours cost will be incurred.
  • A tennis cardholder may only book one court in a given time slot on their booking card and must be on the court. No block bookings are permitted without prior arrangement with the Tennis Development Officer or Tennis Centre Manager.
  • Hiring of equipment must be paid in advance, with a deposit.   (Tennis Cardholders free of charge).
