Taking place on the 28^th and 29^th January at GL1 Leisure Centre, the annual County Championships will see Gloucester’s most competent young swimmers take to the pool in a bid to win trophies for their respective events.

Amongst those in attendance will be Double Olympian butterfly specialist Jemma Lowe. The lead mentor for event supporter SwimPath, a popular online swim shop and support ground for new swimmers, she will remain on-hand to assist and guide competitors.

This should come easily to Jemma who has two Olympic events, a world record, five world medals, two European championships and a Commonwealth medal to her name. Part of the British team for the past 10 years, she is the first British female to ever make a Butterfly Olympic final, and works regularly with SwimPath to boost progress amongst the new swimming generation.

The championships will run between 9:30am -7pm on Saturday 28th, and 8am – 7pm on Sunday 29th in the Barton pool.
