The Gloucester County ASA Championships are back again, this year with Olympiad support to help buoy the swimmers for success!
Taking place on the 28th and 29th January at GL1 Leisure Centre, the annual County Championships will see Gloucester’s most competent young swimmers take to the pool in a bid to win trophies for their respective events.
Amongst those in attendance will be Double Olympian butterfly specialist Jemma Lowe. The lead mentor for event supporter SwimPath, a popular online swim shop and support ground for new swimmers, she will remain on-hand to assist and guide competitors.
This should come easily to Jemma who has two Olympic events, a world record, five world medals, two European championships and a Commonwealth medal to her name. Part of the British team for the past 10 years, she is the first British female to ever make a Butterfly Olympic final, and works regularly with SwimPath to boost progress amongst the new swimming generation.
The championships will run between 9:30am -7pm on Saturday 28th, and 8am – 7pm on Sunday 29th in the Barton pool.
