GL1 is the ideal venue for a wide range of indoor sports. Whether you want to take part as an individual or part of a team, have coaching or just spectate, GL1 has the sport for you. View our facilities below, or:

Sports equipment, balls and shuttlecocks are available for hire or sale from Main Reception.

Courts are available for booking Sunday - Friday 9am-11pm, Saturday 9am-6pm. Book online here.

FACILITIES:

Glevum Hall
This superb 1200 sq m Sports Arena can also seat 1700 spectators. With capacity for 8 badminton courts, two five-a-side pitches, two basketball / volleyball / netball courts, the hall is frequently hired for major sporting competitions and tournaments.

Sports Courses & Weekly Sessions
A range of sports courses and weekly sessions for both adults and children are available at GL1 during term-time and school holidays - from Fun & Fitness mornings, or Multi-Sport 'Kidz Club' - we have something for all. Clubs & Organisations
A wide range of sporting clubs and organisations, including martial arts and gymnastics are based at GL1. For details click here. If you would like to block-book any of our facilities, please contact the on 01452 39 66 59

Gymnastics
GL1's Gymnastics Hall is set to be a regional centre of excellence, with many local clubs based here. This major training facility is fully equipped with competition square, tumble track, vaults and bars with a specially constructed soft landing 'pit', while gymnastics competitions with spectator facilities will be held in the Glevum Hall.

Martial Arts
The Martial Arts Area is home to a wide range of local martial arts groups.

Bowls
Four Indoor Bowls rinks are available for both club and casual use. Like many other areas the bowls hall has its own changing facilities. Woods can be hired from Main Reception.

Squash
GL1's four squash courts are located near to the Glevum Hall. Squash leagues are also now available.

Table Tennis
The Function Suite is used to house two table tennis tables, as well as private hires.
