No Strings Badminton Session

We host a regular no strings ‘pay and play’ sessions that are simple, straightforward and convenient… whatever your motivation for welcoming badminton back into your life:

Olympic Inspired Archery Beginners Courses:
Come and Learn the Olympic Sport that everyone wants to try!!!!
1st 6 week course: Wednesday 25th January – Wednesday 29th February 2012, Time: 5.30-6.30pm,
Age: 14-25 year olds.
2nd 6 week course: Wednesday 7th March – Wednesday 11th April 2012,Time: 5.30-6.30pm,
Age 14-25 year olds.

Part funded by ‘Sportivate,’ the Olympic Lottery Programme for 14-25 year old’s this is an opportunity to learn a new, exciting sport.
This course introduces beginners to the basics of archery in a fun and friendly way and consists of six 1 hour sessions with qualified Archery GB coaches from Deer Park Archers, one of the leading clubs in the country!!!!
This course will teach basic technique, safety, range etiquette and general knowledge of the sport through fun games.
All equipment will be provided, just wear comfortable clothing that is not too baggy.
Fun & Fitness Morning for adults
Wednesdays 10:00 to 12:00 noon - Including swim, gym and spa (termtime only)Whether it's gentle exercise and a social or more rigorous activity this club is for you.
The session includes an hour of structured fitness and physical activity led by a fitness practitioner from 10:00 -11:00am with an opportunity for a coffee break, followed by a second hour until 12:00 noon where you decide what activity you want to do such as badminton, squash, bowls, or you can visit GL1's pools, aspire Health & Fitness Gym (under supervision from the session leader) or Health Spa - all included in the price!
Non-Members: £4.45 per session

Macron Gloucester Store Adult Futsal League
Gloucester's Futsal League goes from strength to strenth.The league takes place at GL1 on Thursday night's from 9pm-11pm, where there will be two 40 minute games a night over a 10-14 week period.
Futsal is the game that all the world's top players like Messi and Ronaldo grew up playing. Matches are played within line restrictions on a longer and wider pitch than a traditional five-a-side. The ball is heavier to reduce bounce and thus produce more skill and technique. The game is five-a-side, but with rotating squads of 12, with adapted rules and no rebound boards. The game is also based around fair play and respect.
Players must be over 16 years of age and the current cost of eeach match is £25 per team. There may also be a nominal one off fee for registration and insurance costs.
