Pool Safety
POOL SAFETYSafety is vitally important at GL1, and we follow the latest national safety guidelines laid down by the Royal Lifesaving Society :
New swimming admission safety ratios for children under 8 years old now apply at GL1 - click here.
The Tad Pool is for use ONLY by children under age 11, who must be accompanied in the water by a parent or guardian over 16 years (except by prior arrangement).
Extra vigilance is required from anyone with weak or non-swimmers in their group.
Please inform the lifeguard if anyone in your group suffers from a medical condition e.g. epilepsy.
There is disabled visitor access to all pools using a chair hoist. Please do not hesitate to ask if you require assistance.
